Ski Season Insurance
With the ski season coming up, are you organising your trip to work for the ski season or are you organising an extended ski holiday for the season? If you are you also need to think about the importance of arranging your insurance which will cover your winter sports needs. You need to take into consideration that 1 in 10 skiers require some form of medical treatment and that medical bills can be costly.
We can supply you with 3 different types of policies depending on you particular requirements. The policies are provided by Jade Stanley ltd and are single trip policies which cover you for up to 12 months.
When booking your ski insurance you also need to think about the type of winter sports activities that you wish to take part in as you may find that there are exclusions for certain activities. With the policies we can supply, you have the option to choose a policy to include the following activities:
- Cross Country Skiing on recognised paths
- Heli Skiing (Excluding cancellation cover )
- Sledging and snow boarding
You can also have the peace of mind of having your ski equipment covered for loss, damage or theft. But you have to consider that your equipment is not insured if you leave it unattended. As well as having medical cover and equipment cover, there is also the important issue of being insured for your Personal Public Liability, in case you injure somebody else as this could also work out costly if you were faced with a bill.
The Ski Season polices do not cover any pre existing medical conditions and two of the three polices insure up to 40 and one up to the age of 65.
Bearing all the above here are some of the main cover levels you would be provided with depending or the chosen policy:
- Medical Expenses: Cover up to £5,000,000
- Ski Equipment: Cover up to £1,000
- Personal Liability: Cover up to £2,000,000
- Cancellation or Curtailment: Cover up to £1000
- Legal Expenses: Cover up to £25,000
